Help someone find regular, trusted support

Know an older adult who would welcome someone reliable to spend time with, get out with or provide gentle everyday support?

We welcome introductions from family members, friends, neighbours, professionals and community organisations across London.

Looking for support for yourself? You’re welcome to contact us directly. You don’t need a referral from anyone else.

Who GoodCompany can support

GoodCompany supports people in later life who would benefit from regular company, shared activities and more structure in their week.

We take time to understand their interests, preferences and routine, then arrange support with a carefully matched companion.

We provide non-care support. We do not provide personal care, medical care or emergency assistance. Receiving care elsewhere does not automatically make someone unsuitable for GoodCompany.

Every GoodCompany arrangement is managed by us, with DBS-checked companions and appropriate business insurance in place.

Two ways to access support

Privately funded support

For people whose support will be paid for by themselves or their family, our monthly plans provide regular visits, matching, coordination and ongoing oversight.

You do not need to choose a plan before making an introduction.

Access Fund support

The GoodCompany Access Fund aims to make regular support accessible to older adults who face a financial barrier to paying for it.

Funded places depend on sponsorship, suitability and companion availability. Making a referral does not guarantee a place.

How to make an introduction

Please speak with the person first and make sure they are happy for you to contact us. Their wishes are central to any arrangement.

Use our contact form and include:

  • Your name and relationship to the person, or your professional role.

  • The area of London where support would take place.

  • A brief outline of what they would find helpful.

  • Whether you are asking about privately funded support or the Access Fund. If you are unsure, let us know.

Please provide your own contact details initially. There is no need to send medical records or detailed financial information with your enquiry.

What happens next?

We will contact you to discuss the enquiry and agree how best to involve the older person and, where appropriate, their family.

Before visits begin, we confirm suitability, preferences, funding and a companion match. There is no obligation to proceed after an initial conversation.
