GoodCompany provides trusted, consistent companionship for older people who should not be alone.

Each visit is personal, familiar, and carefully matched, so over time it feels natural and reassuring rather than new each time.

Our services typically start from £650 per month, depending on frequency and structure. Most families we work with invest between £650 and £1,400 per month for ongoing, consistent companionship.

Monthly service

It includes:

  • A dedicated point of contact
  • Regular in-person companionship visits
  • Ongoing coordination and scheduling
  • Careful matching with a trusted companion, and re-matches when appropriate/needed
  • Oversight and follow-up if anything feels off

Pricing is discussed openly once we understand your situation and what level of support would be most helpful. There are no long-term commitments and no hidden fees.

The service is billed monthly and continues for as long as it’s helpful for your family.

We do not work on an hourly basis. What we provide is consistency, reliability, and peace of mind.

Family onboarding

£175 (one-off fee)

This covers:

An initial conversation to understand your situation

Thoughtful matching based on needs and preferences

Setup of visits, communication, and expectations

Oversight of the first visits to ensure the fit is right

Onboarding is paid once, before the service begins.

Who this service is for

GoodCompany is for families who:

  • Worry about a loved one being alone
  • Live at a distance or cannot be there regularly

What this service is not

GoodCompany is not:

  • Ad-hoc or one-off visits
  • Emergency or medical care
  • A volunteer or drop-in service
  • A low-cost, high-volume solution
