GoodCompany arranges regular, in-person social visits for older adults who live independently.

We manage the process end-to-end, from intake and matching through to ongoing oversight.

Our process

  • Step 1 - Family intake

    Families complete a short intake so we can understand who the visits are for, including interests, availability, and location.

  • Step 2 - Matching

    We match based on interests, availability, and location, and confirm details with both sides before visits begin.

  • Step 3 - Visits

    Visits are structured and time-bound, with 2 hours as the standard visit length, and are arranged as a consistent, ongoing match, not one-off appointments.

  • Step 4 - Ongoing involvement

    We stay involved to ensure visits remain appropriate, comfortable, and within clear boundaries.

Onboarding and commitment

When the service looks like a good fit, families complete a one-time onboarding and matching fee before a placement is confirmed.

This helps ensure matches are intentional and allows us to carry out the necessary checks and coordination.
